Aunt and Uncle
Anna's aunt is Rebecca. She is my (katie's) sister. Rebecca is great with kids, loves horseback riding, and likes to shop. Anna and Noah love Rebecca. They settle down peacefully into her arms and seem content to gaze up at Rebecca's face. The first time we left them with a babysitter it was Rebecca. I was just glad knowing they were with someone they love. My favorite memories with Rebecca are always silly ones. Somehow when we were young we were either fighting with each other or getting into trouble, and the trouble was always the fun part. It is the wild side of her that I have delighted in. Once when our parents were at work we settled down to watch Fiddler on The Roof. There's a scene in the movie when they are all celebrating the engagement of Tevya's daughter in a Jewish pub. They dance and sing and toast each other with glasses of whisky. Rebecca and I, getting into the spirit of the movie filled pottery mugs with water and danced around the living room getting drunk on water and yelling "Drink Lachaim to Life"! We were so crazy we practically soaked the room, couldn't stop laughing, and broke one of the mugs! This is the silly joy I would love to share with my daughter as well as my sister. Becca helped me with the kids at the State Fair- see the pics here.

Anna's Uncle is Zachary. Zachary is a Lance Corporl in the Marine Corps. He graduated boot camp on October fourth 2002 and is currently a motor T man in North Carolina at Camp Le Jeune. His passion is cars. He always has a neat project he's working on and I can't wait for a ride in his current one. Zach is the most optimistic person I've ever met. He's the kind of person who's always in the right place at the right time. He's also a sensitive and caring person. Zach loves to fish and many times we've left the campsite early to drive into Canal Park and fish off the pier. My favorite part about it is his absolute belief that he's going to catch Walter, the one that got away. He did catch a big Northern there once and it was hilarious watching him pull it out of the water. My
