Anticipation

Each moment passes by,

waiting to feel you move,

tiny feet flicker under my skin,

I long to feel it again and again.

Free from the confines of my body,

you will emerge a brand new soul,

tiny hands and feet and fingers

will reach for mine and linger.

Daddy waits, his hand on my belly,

feels your tiny body move,

as if awaiting a new proclamation,

your coming fills us with anticipation.

All About Anna

Annahallé is the first child born to my husband Leonard and I. She was born Feb.18 and was born at the new Birth Center at United Children's Hospital. Lenny and I eagerly awaited her arrival. Anna's full name is Annahallé Marie. Annahallé is a name that was created by my best friend Rebekah Jayne. It came from a song that the two of us sang together in the St. Paul Central High school choir. Becky was a brilliant voice major at Simpson College in Iowa before she passed away. Becky was to be Anna's godmother and loved Anna very much, long before she was even born. Now she is Anna's guardian Angel.

All About Noah

Noah is the second child to be born to us. He was born at 4:54 AM on January 25, 2002. He was also born at United Childrens Hospital. His Full name is Noah Leonard. Noah is a very mellow easy going child. He slept through the night by 2 months and has gone to bed relatively easy since then. This is a big deal since i really need my sleep to keep up with him in the daytime! He is a sweet child prone to shy smiles that he burries in my shoulder and squeals of delight over any small thing!

All About Uriel

Uriel is our third hoped for child. We discovered we were pregnant on Dec.10th. A new unexpected joy had come into our lives. Because it was christmas time we told everyone early on and they were all so happy for us. We knew that a third child would mean some major changes in our lives but we were still excited. After all, who wouldn't want a new child to share their lives with. To our deep sadness we miscarried on December 29th at only eight weeks. Even in such a short time we had grown to love and adore the new life we had felt amoung us. It seems important for us to continue to dream of the child we had so hoped to meet and to think of him as one of our children. It is with deep sadness that I write this knowing that there will be little else about him to say here on our page. We have written a letter to him to better express our feelings. For Uriels letter, click here.

All About Alexandra

Alexandra Danielle is our last child. She was born on November 10th in the afternoon at Childrens Hospital in St.Paul like all our other kids. She was 8 lbs even and 21 inches long. She is a sweet delight in our lives despite getting sick every single time something comes around. She loves to be cuddled and prefers Anna's company to anyone elses. She has fit nicely into our family and the other two children have adjusted so well. We are really proud of them. Everyone loves Alex and we share her freely in an effort to allow Gods child to bring even a moment of happiness to others. Because we want to be able to spend as much quality time with each of our children we have no plans to have any more so we are truely enjoying her every day to make these first small steps last as long as possible!
